King Khalid Foundation was established by a Royal Decree in 2001. Through its programs and grants KKF aims to achieve the following:
We seek to build and strengthen the capacity of non-profit organizations and private sector companies in the Kingdom so they can serve the Saudi population to the best of their abilities. This includes building management and programming capacity of non-profit organizations as well as strengthening sustainability and corporate responsibility policies and practices of private sector companies.
We seek to build the skills and capacity of Saudi youth so they can be competitive and prepared for the 21st century labor and entrepreneurial marketplace. By doing so we aim to ensure their economic independence and improved quality of life. This is done through social entrepreneurship, fellowships, mentorship, training and employment opportunities.
We seek to advocate for policy changes in these areas in order to move the country forward and provide equal opportunities for all our citizens.
